Thomas Feldmann, a blues harmonica player familiar to viewers of his numerous YouTube videos under the alias "Harpsucker", has been active on the European harmonica scene since 1981. Five years later, he received his first endorsement deal with Hohner during his tenure with the well-known German blues band Blues Company. As a sideman, Hr. Feldmann has worked as an accompanist with numerous blues artists, including Buddy Ace and Johnny Copeland, on concerts and tours throughout Europe. A convincing live performer, he's also an experienced studio musician, having recorded CDs with Blues Company, The First Class Blues Band, and The Bluescasters, among others.

Early on, he developed a passion for collecting vintage microphones and amplifiers. The marriage of instrument and technology holds for him a special charm, and his experimentation with different combinations of harmonica, microphone and amplifier continues to this day, constantly searching for just the right sound. With his constant presence on the Internet, Thomas "Harpsucker" Feldmann reaches out to kindred spirits in the harmonica world to participate in this quest. More than 100 different Harpsucker harmonica, microphone & amplifier videos can be found on YouTube.

These videos boast a huge viewership, especially in the USA, with more than two million hits as of late 2009.
