"George Harrison of The Beatles was a big fan of the ukulele. He once said that every guitarist should play the ukulele because it "makes you smile". The Lanakai SCMS-C has certainly put a smile on my face and I have thoroughly enjoyed my introduction to the ukulele."

"The tone (of the Lanikai SCMS-C) is sweet, the intonation good, and the instrument stays in tune over an extended period of playing. The high G (4th string) provides some interesting melodic and rhythmic possibilities. I use a light gauge thumb-pick and it feels completely natural and appropriate to emulate the arpeggios and blue-grass picking patterns more usually played on a 5 string banjo. The tone of the finger-picked ukulele has a harp-like quality which is pleasing to the ear and will be very useful in the recording studio. "

Harry Bogdanovs has written and co written songs for a variety of artists including; Kiki Dee (Elton John), The Shadows, Roger Whittaker, Toyah Wilcox, O'chi Brown, Helen Terry (Culture Club), Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann's Earthband), Amazulu, Mondo Rock, The Kids From Fame and many more. Harry wrote 2 songs for John Farnham's multi-platinum album 'Whispering Jack' (1987).  He has recorded and toured with iconic German stadium rocker Westernhagen for the 2005 album ‘Nahaufnahme' (#1 on the German charts).
