Hardly any musician unifies the power of Heavy Metal that versatile with electronic music as Thanasis Lightbridge. Grown up with the influences of great electronic music masters such as Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis, he began to combine synthesizers with heavy drums and e-guitars. The vocal lines are sung by a whole bombastic choir.
In 2002 he presented his “Electronica Art Metal” vision at the Music University of Thessaloniki Greece, giving birth to a new music genre. Since that time he constantly releases great albums with his bands DOL AMMAD and DOL THEETA.
Thanasis loves to play Hohner melodicas, which he processes through electronic sound effects.
