HOHNER C

HOHNER C

In 2012 the chromatic harmonica celebrates its 100th birthday. Introduced by Hohner in 1912, its groundbreaking concept made it possible to comfortably play a full chromatic scale over a range of several octaves on one harmonica for the first time. This was the breakthrough which led to the acceptance of the often derided harmonica as a "serious" instrument and in subsequent decades the chromonica shaped entire musical genres. To honour the occasion we have created this noble model in a strictly limited edition, embodying the most important milestones in the history of the chromatic harmonica by incorporating components from the various different epochs.
